Chapter 01

A skin analysis comes first

Before any facial or advanced treatment begins, an esthetics student looks at your skin: type, sensitivity, sun exposure, and anything you flag at the front desk. The Proskin and advanced facials on this menu are built around what that analysis finds rather than a one-size routine, and they are suitable for all skin types.

The same student stays with you through the appointment, and a licensed instructor checks the work before you leave the chair, the same standard applied to every service Entourage runs on its Lenexa clinic floor.

What waxing actually involves

Waxing pulls hair from the root rather than trimming the surface, which is why a patch of growth with a little length on it waxes more cleanly than hair shaved close a day earlier. Students work section by section, checking skin tension and hair direction as they go, whether it is a quick eyebrow shape or a full leg.

Aftercare is straightforward: skip sun, retinol and hot showers for the rest of the day, and let any redness settle on its own. It is the same guidance a student walks you through before you leave, whichever area you had done.

Chapter 03

Advanced facials and add-ons

Beyond the two Proskin facials, the menu lists seven advanced treatments, chemical peel, microdermabrasion, microcurrent, LED light therapy, dermaplane, O2 lift and hydrofacial, each priced the same at $60. A handful of add-ons, a sheet mask, a shorter LED or microcurrent boost, a nano-pen pass, an enzyme treatment, layer onto any facial.

Nine months full time or fourteen months part time, approved by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology, covering skin anatomy, facials, waxing, makeup and body treatments from the ground up.
