Chapter 01
What the program covers
Cosmetology at Entourage covers haircutting and styling, color theory, skin care and facials, nail care, and makeup, alongside the business skills a stylist needs to run a chair. The Kansas licensure test is the finish line for every student in the program.
Instructors build a curriculum around the full range of a working salon career, not just the chair itself: booking clients, pricing services, and the day-to-day of a real salon are part of the training, not an afterthought.
From theory to the clinic floor
Every student spends the early part of the program on core theory and technique before moving onto the clinic floor to work on real clients. It's a question we hear often on tours: when can I practice on a real person? The answer is once the fundamentals are solid, and always under the direct supervision of a licensed instructor.
The perm rods and balayage work you see around the school are real client appointments, not staged demonstrations. A student sets the rods or paints the foils, and an instructor checks the result before the client leaves the chair.
Chapter 03
Schedules and where it leads
Cosmetology runs 12 months full time (43 weeks) or 21 months part time (71 weeks). Graduates go on to work as stylists, colorists, makeup artists, skincare specialists or nail technicians, in a salon, a spa, fashion work, or their own chair as a freelancer or salon owner.
The license covers more ground than any single one of the other three programs, which is part of why it's the longest to complete.

The cosmetology students behind this program work the same clinic floor the public books from. A haircut starts at $20, and color runs from a single foil at $10 to a full balayage at $90, with a licensed instructor checking the finish before you leave the chair.
