Entourage Institute trains cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians and massage therapists at our Lenexa campus. Every program is built around Kansas licensure, and every student finishes classroom theory before moving onto the clinic floor to work on real clients under a licensed instructor. The Cosmetology, Nails and Esthetics programs are approved by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology, and the Therapeutic Massage program by the Kansas Board of Regents. Applicants need to be at least 17 with a high school diploma, transcript, GED or equivalent. See the full enrollment steps.

Two ways to keep training once you're licensed.
Laser certification
An 85-hour hybrid course through the SAA Laser Institute with William O. Reed, Jr., M.D., P.A.: 40 hours online and 45 hours hands-on. It's open to estheticians and medical professionals, RN or beyond, and covers laser hair reduction, IPL skin rejuvenation, vascular and pigmented lesions, resurfacing and toning, tattoo removal, and RF microneedling and body contouring.

Laser certification detailsInstructor training
Graduates who want to teach the next class themselves can move into instructor training here rather than leaving Lenexa to do it. It's a route we see often: several of our own educators trained through our programs before they started teaching in them.

The clinic floor
Every program ends on real clients, not a mannequin.
Classroom theory comes first in every program, then students move onto the clinic floor for supervised practice on the public. A licensed instructor checks the work before a client leaves the chair. It's how a haircut here runs $20 and a facial runs $30, and it's the reason Google gives Entourage a 4.6 from 230 reviews.
Choosing a program
Start with what you'd rather be doing all day.
If you're drawn to hair, color and the front-of-chair conversation, cosmetology is the broadest of the four and the longest, at 12 months full time. If skin science and a quieter treatment room appeal more, esthetics runs 9 months and opens onto laser certification later.
Nail technology is the fastest path to a license at 4 months full time, and it suits anyone who wants detail work with a steady stream of short appointments. Massage therapy is full time only, 9 months, and approved separately by the Kansas Board of Regents rather than the Board of Cosmetology, so it runs on its own track.
